Dolly-Parton
Dolly Parton escaped the struggles of her life early on thanks to her inventive and innovative imagination. The songs she wrote were composed before she knew how to read and write. The first time she picked up a guitar was when she was just 8 years old and started singing at a Knoxville Tenn radio station at the age of 11. In the following year, she made her debut album on Gold Band Records an independent small-scale label. While still in highschool she established herself locally but dreamed about having a bigger stage. She moved to Nashville the day after graduating in 1964. Dumb Blonde (both 1967) as well as Something Fishy were among her first Monument Records chart-topping records. Porter Wagoner began looking for new female vocalists for his TV show syndicated by a network at around the exact as the time. Parton got her first gig in 1967 and signed by RCA Records by 1968, and became a member of the Grand Ole Opry. The show was cancelled by Wagoner, however, in 1974 because her albums on her own like Joshua Coat Of Many Colors and Jolene exceeded the sales of their joint albums. The song by Parton, I Will Never Have Love for You (for Wagoner), reached the top of the. number 1 position after the duo separated. First time, in 1974.
